Standlee Premium Western Forage Chopped Straw is used for animal bedding, erosion control and composting. Straw is not recommended for equine bedding as horses may consume it causing digestive problems. Standlee Premium Western Forage Certified Chopped Straw is easy to handle and convenient for storing, the bag weighs 25lbs and is Certified Noxious Weed Free. Landscaping Note: Barley or Wheat seeds may be present and may germinate if used in gardens or for erosion control.

These nesting pads help provide you with cleaner, fresher, unbroken eggs and your chickens with a clean, sanitary place to lay them. Moisture is absorbed and pulled away from the top of the pad towards the bottom paper backing to keep the nest clean and dry.

Made in the USA from Aspen wood excelsior material with a kraft paper backing each of the 10 pads included in a pack measures 13 x 13 inches and is approx. 0.75 inches thick. The material can be “fluffed up” for a more thick soft nest if needed.

Made with poultry nest boxes in mind but also useful as bedding for other types of birds and small pets.

Excelsior poultry pads are manufactured from Great Lakes aspen excelsior fibers and brown kraft paper.

Excelsior nest pads help to provide cleaner, fresher, better quality and more hatchable eggs. They are economical, easy to place in the laying nests and help in faster egg gathering. The eggs are on top, clean and fresh rather than having to hunt and dig for eggs as with some other products. They also draw moisture from droppings which drop to the paper below, out of the area in which the eggs are laid.

Naturally moisture absorbing, which creates a dry, sanitary nesting surface for eggs.
