Very pleased with these scissors. Works well for older kids as the handle is sized for growing hands. The scissors are made of stainless steel, so they are less likely to corrode or rust. I accidentally got a little water on them & was worried about rust spots, but it has held up very well.
The blades are very sharp & cuts through anything from paper to cardboard with a nice, clean straight cut. The overall weight of the scissors is very light and comfortable & I had no issue holding it for long periods of time.
I’ve noticed many complaints about not being able to choose the color, which wasn’t an issue for me. I actually received a neutral color. Shipping was fast.

I am a serial crafter, so I’ve gone thru my share of scissors. A good test of a quality scissor, for me, is to do conduct my "one snip" test. I cut foam, I cut card stock, ribbon, fabric, a cardboard box, small gauge wire, a plastic pouch, and an aluminum soda can. I am happy to report that these scissors cut beautifully. The length and pointed tip of the blade provide good control for cutting out those smaller, more complex shapes. The smooth texture of the handle and stainless steel blades make them easy to clean, which is a nice bonus because my nice and nephew are messy and I want to use these scissors too! The package states that these scissors are for ages 12 and up, but my niece and nephew – ages 9 and 11 – found them comfy and easy to use as well.
